Karmak increases sales force

Karmak has appointed three new managers to the company’s sales team. The new additions will expand Karmak’s presence in Central and Northwest U.S. and Canada.

Gary Woods is the new regional manager for the Pacific Northwest territory, covering Washington, Oregon, Alaska, British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon Territory. Woods comes to Karmak with 13 years of experience in the heavy-duty commercial truck industry, and extensive knowledge of dealership operations from varied perspectives, says the company. Formerly holding a variety of senior corporate positions with PACCAR, Freightliner, and Sterling Trucks, he interfaced actively with dealer principals and the 20 Group dealer representatives.

Dean Hill joined Karmak as the Midwest Regional Manager, covering Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula area of Michigan. Hill has worked in the heavy-duty industry for 32 years, progressing from truck technician to executive management with Fortune 500 companies. His diversified background involves sales, service, and dealership general management positions, including managing regional and national operations for one of the largest refrigerated carriers.

Art Northover is the new Regional Manager for the Central U.S. and Canada, covering Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. A 30-year industry veteran, Northover’s experience includes executive sales and operations positions with multi-national manufacturing organizations, including Detroit Diesel and DEUTZ Corporation, with a strong background in parts, service, and dealer/distributor development.
