Air N Arc introduced new diesel-powered welder/generator/air compressor combo units that use a fully automatic Smart Start mode, activating the engine on-demand for the welder and air compressor.
According to the company, its fuel-efficient Force Diesel 200 and 250 models run on a Tier 4 compliant Kubota diesel engine, also controlling carbon emissions. The units also weigh less for better fuel economy of the vehicles to which they are installed, and save space for more versatility in chassis and body options. The units can be run with certain bio-diesel blends.
The units can be switched between normal operation and the Smart Start mode with the press of a button. The units come standard with a remote-mount control pad that provides access to all functions. Available configurations include onboard air and fuel storage, or use of the vehicle’s fuel supply.
