Neapco, a driveline component manufacturer, announced a new corporate structure that creates a new subsidiary, Neapco Components, that includes the original core business that was acquired from the Carlyle Group’s United Components group in 2006.
Neapco Components will operate facilities in Pottstown, Penn.; Beatrice, Neb.; and Saltillo, Mexico.
Additionally, Keith Sanford was promoted to the new position of executive vice president and general manager of Neapco Components.
“We believe that this structure will allow us to best focus our resources, optimize current performance and position Neapco for continued growth both from our existing businesses and through strategic acquisitions of innovative driveline products and technologies,” said Robert Hawkey, Neapco president and CEO.
