The Haldex Monterrey, Mexico plant which manufacturers spring brakes and service chambers, will be moving the beginning of the third quarter of this year, the company announced.
As Haldex’s business continues to grow in North America, the current facility does not have space to expand for new business, planned new product offerings or product improvements, the company said. The new location is located seven miles from the existing plant and is in a modern industrial park just outside Monterrey near the International airport. The new location will provide more space for the plant to expand its in-house manufacturing capabilities, update the Quality Assurance testing laboratory, streamline production lines and optimize the flow of material within the plant, according to Haldex.
