The Tire Industry Association announced it is accepting nominations for its 2010-2011 board of directors. “Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the Nominating Committee in accordance with the TIA Bylaws,” says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. “Self-nominations are also welcome.”
Nominations should be submitted by completing and returning the nomination form to the TIA office in Bowie, Md., no later than 5 p.m. ET on April 30. Forms can be downloaded at www.tireindustry.org under the “Board of Directors” tab, or they can be requested by calling 800-876-8372, ext. 109, or e-mailing to [email protected].
“TIA is looking for members with a passion for the tire industry,” Littlefield says. “Becoming a volunteer member requires a time commitment with conference calls and meetings throughout the year. We believe the investment of time is definitely worth the experience members receive that are elected to the board.”
