Stemco announced that Todd Heim has been named product manager for the Stemco Brake Products Group effective immediately. He will be responsible for Stemco Duroline friction, new shoe and hardware kits, as well as the Stemco Crewson line of automatic brake adjustors.
Heim’s most recent assignment was field sales manager for Grote Industries. Prior to that, he worked directly in the brake industry for about 25 years at Federal Mogul (Abex), Power Brake and Suspension and Ferodo. From 1999 to 2007, Heim was a commercial vehicle specialist for Federal Mogul in the Florida area. He also served as vice president of sales and marketing for Power Brake and Suspension from 1994 to 1998. For the preceding 10 years, Heim was an account manager for both Ferodo and Abex.
“Todd is an expert in the brake category,” says Jim Reis, vice president and general manager of the Stemco Brake Products Group. “We are excited to have him on board and know that his extensive experience in the brake industry will be a key factor in expanding our focus in the brake category. Todd will be responsible for product development and strategy, pricing, and marketing of brake products focused on foundation brake training, vehicle safety and world-class manufacturing.”
