ACOFAS CSA Technician Training Clinic deadline

The deadline for the April ACOFAS CSA Technician Training Clinic in Allentown, Pa. is approaching at the end of this month. The clinic is set for April 19-20, 2011 at Ross Body & Frame in Allentown, and has a capacity of 50 participants. Deadline to sign up for the clinic is March 30.
The focus of this clinic is the CSA procedures that went into effect in December and how they will affect aftermarket businesses and customers. According to ACOFAS, the clinic will teach businesses how to stay on top of the new regulations.

The CSA portion of the clinic will be instructed by John Cheruka of Commercial Vehicle Safety and Accident. Cheruka will teach a class on the morning of the 19th and have hands-on vehicle inspections on the 19th and 20th. New Jersey and Pennsylvania law enforcement officers will also be on hand the 20th to award certificates to technicians who meet CSA regulations.

Michael Kinney, formerly of Noregon Systems, will also be on hand during the clinic to demonstrate and instruct technicians on the Noregon J-Pro diagnostics computer system. The system is designed to meet all CSA regulations.

ACOFAS will also provide samples of the new FMCSA Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and CSA handbooks, as well as CSA poster and annual vehicle inspection reports.
