Mitchell 1 has decided to offer service information skills stations for states that hold SuperTech competitions in 2011. Mitchell 1 has currently agreed to hold events for Tennessee, California, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, and will hold Service Information Skills testing at the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) SuperTech Competition in September.

“Each year we increase the number of state competitions we support as more states develop their own SuperTech events,” says Dave Costantino, Mitchell 1 director of heavy-duty. “As additional states organize these competitions, Mitchell 1 will be happy to support them as well; they simply need to contact us as they start the planning process

According to Mitchell 1, service information skills stations test competitors on their abilities using online repair information to diagnose and fix maintenance problems. Mitchell 1 plans to test 2011 competitors on its Tractor-Trailer.net program.
