Cummins Onan is offering a free webinar this Friday detailing new emission regulations from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The new EPA regulations affect a wide range of vehicles with on-board generators, including fire trucks, telecom and utility fleet vehicles, towable trailers and mobile food vending trucks and other specialty vehicles.

The webinar will be presented by Eric Bollensen, customer application engineer, commercial mobile, for Cummins Onan. According to Cummins, the new EPA standards may require different fuel tanks, charcoal canisters and fuel hoses. The new exhaust standards reduce hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 33 percent. Failure to comply can result in a $35,000 fine, imprisonment, or both.

The webinar will begin at 1 p.m. Central time Friday, April 29, and interested participants can register at cm.emission-solutions.com.
