The first session of the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network’s 2011 Summit will be highlighted by a keynote address from former Maryland Gov. Robert. L. Ehrlich.

According to the CVSN, Gov. Ehrlich will give his assessment of the current political scene in the country and his insight into the 2012 presidential election, along with the economy and health care. Having served as governor, U.S. congressman, state legislator and civil litigator, Ehrlich counsels clients on an array of governmental matters with expertise in health care, finance and economic development.

Ehrlich will speak at this year’s Summit during the Opening General Session at 7:30 a.m. September 19 at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Va.

Ehrlich was the first Republican to win the Maryland Governor’s race since 1966 when he won in 2002. He held the position from Jan. 15, 2003 to Jan. 17, 2007.
