Mitsubishi Fuso appoints Peary

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. has announced that James S. Peary has returned from a post at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, Kawasaki, Japan, to accept the position of director, business operations for MFTA. MFTBC is MFTA’s parent company, and a part of the Daimler Truck Group.

In his new position, Peary will be responsible for managing business process development, dealers operations, legal and regulatory compliance, and for providing operational support to other departments within the company.

Peary joined MFTA originally in 1997 as director, corporate systems, handling the company’s IT functions for North American vehicle sales and distribution operations. In 2007, he was transferred to MFTBC in Japan, where he served initially as manager, business development for International Aftersales. In 2009, he took on the concurrent role of manager, parts marketing and sales for Europe/NAFTA/Oceania.

Before joining MFTA in 2007, Peary spent 10 years at ADP Dealer Services.
