To support business growth and service innovations, Diamond International of Russellville, Ark., has completed the final phase of a $2.5 million facilities expansion. The renovated dealership, located at 143 State Road 331 N., is now 30 percent larger with a 21,000-square-foot footprint.

The majority of the new space is allocated to the parts and service departments:
• The service department has high ceilings and double-sided bays. The expansion adds three new service bays plus a new wash bay. All the bays are wired for computers, and the service department now includes a new area for shop tools, warranty and core storage; and
• The parts department sales floor features an extra-long parts counter and flexible merchandising displays. A redesigned parts warehouse with a mezzanine provides additional parts storage.

The expansion also includes fully renovated office areas and a drivers’ lounge. The dealership is now open weeknights until midnight and Saturdays until 5 p.m.

“In order to support market growth, we needed to expand our dealership in Russellville,” says Dick Sweebe, president and chief executive officer of Diamond Companies. “Our larger renovated dealership provides a much better facility for our customers and a much better work environment for our staff.”

The dealership will host a grand opening event for customers and local community leaders on Tuesday, April 3. The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
