PSI recognizes employees for record 2011

Pressure Systems International has recognized a number of employees with its 2011 Service Awards.  The awards are given each year signifying outstanding service to the company and its customers. PSI says the role each of the recipients played in 2011 contributed to record sales growth in North America for the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI.

“Our employees make this company successful and those we single out for recognition this year are simply examples of how each and every one contributes,” says Tim Musgrave, president and CEO.“2011 was just phenomenal for our product line. Sales to OE trailer manufacturers increased, but the real driver of our record year was the huge increase in sales of retrofit kits. As our customers recognize the savings they are getting from new trailers equipped with MTIS, they determine that retrofitting their current inventory of trailers makes real sense to leverage the advantage of automatically keeping tires properly inflated.  We’ve significantly increased production here and couldn’t have done that without complete buy in from all our people.”

Award recipients chosen by company vote for 2011 were:

  • Attitude is Everything Award:  Earl Brewer and Maria Caribardi
  • Dare to Soar Award:  Vivian Ruiz
  • Never Give Up Award:  Manuel Garza
  • Whatever It Takes Award:  Israel Perez
  • Carl Tapp Award given to the employee(s) who epitomize the true meaning of all four cornerstones:  Lydia Munoz and Frank Sonzala
