Meritor makes two aftermarket appointments

Meritor, Inc. has appointed Craig Cartmill to vice president, Aftermarket Americas, and Doug Wolma to general manager, Global Aftermarket Operations, effective immediately. Meritor says both will report directly to Joe Mejaly, vice president and president, Aftermarket & Trailer.

Meritor says Cartmill will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the strategic business plan for the company’s Aftermarket organization in North and South America. He also will lead the emerging Meritor Logistics business globally. Cartmill has been with Meritor since 2008.

“Craig’s extensive background in the commercial-vehicle segment as well as his exposure to international markets makes him a great choice for this position,” says Mejaly.

Meritor says Wolma is now responsible for leading global operations and strategic deployment, including remanufacturing, distribution, supply chain and the worldwide aftermarket footprint. Wolma has been with Meritor since 2006.

“Doug’s familiarity with all aspects of Aftermarket operations and his demonstrated capabilities make him the perfect fit for the worldwide expansion required of our aftermarket business,” says Mejaly.
