The Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) has added Denso as its newest manufacturer member, and has added two people to its board of directors.

Denso Sales California was established in 1971 as the first overseas affiliate of the Denso Corporation of Japan. MERA says Denso is a leading remanufacturer of starter motors, alternators, and common rail fuel injectors.

“Denso is a long-standing supporter of MEMA and a valuable addition to MERA,” says John Chalifoux, MERA president and COO.

MERA also announces Mark DiGiampietro, president, Flight Systems Electronics Group, and Matt Pohlman, vice president, global supply chain management, Delphi Product & Service Solutions, have been added MERA’s Board of Directors.

“On behalf of the membership of MERA, I would like to welcome Mark and Matt to the Board of Directors,” Chalifoux says. “I look forward to working closely with them and the other board members in 2012 to advance the interests of the remanufacturing industry.”
