The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) has opened its nomination process for the “Heavy-Duty Remanufacturer of the Year” award.

According to the APRA, the award will be presented to a remanufacturer who has demonstrated leadership and vision in the industry during an awards luncheon at the 2013 Heavy-Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit on Jan. 21, 2013 in Las Vegas.

Nominations for the award should be directed to Bill Gager, president of the APRA, and the APRA will use a committee to select this year’s winner.

“Seven years ago the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG) was formed to further the interests of the heavy-duty remanufacturer members of APRA,” says Gager. “Both APRA and HDRG have benefited from numerous hard working individuals who have helped in the creation of this group and we are more than pleased to be able to recognize one of them at our luncheon in 2013.”

He adds, “We hope all heavy-duty remanufacturers will show their support of the HDRG and understand the importance the heavy-duty commercial vehicle business plays in the total remanufacturing marketplace.”

For more information, visit www.hdrg.org or call Gager at 703-968-2772 ext. 103, or via email at [email protected].
