The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) will hold an “International Remanufacturing Forum” on Dec. 10, 2012 in Shanghai, China.
APRA says it has joined with Automechanika Shanghai as the co-organizers of this forum, which will be held just prior to Automechanika Shanghai on Dec. 11-14, 2012.
“APRA is pleased with the strong support of our Forum and the Remanufacturing Pavilion within the exposition by the Automechanika Shanghai Team,” says William Gager, APRA president. “This is a win-win for both organizers as we both work toward encouraging more remanufacturing in China for that country’s own growing demands for environmental friendly and reasonably priced products. China’s vehicle population is over 85 million and growing rapidly as they now produce more vehicles than the USA.”
Joining the two organizers as co-sponsors of the Forum will be the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association (CICEIA), APRA’s European Division, the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), and APRA’s new Asia Pacific Division. The forum will be held at the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel.
