Sandy reportedly has not hiked diesel prices

According to reports from AAA, Hurricane and Superstorm Sandy’s impact on the Northeast has not caused diesel prices either regionally or nationally to jump, even in New Jersey, where many pumps are closed.

In fact, on Nov. 1, a AAA daily report said the average price for a gallon of diesel dropped nationally to $4.047, down from $4.053 the day before.
