Lynden International has hired Sergio Lotero as business development manager for Latin America, and Roark Beckstead as business development director in Los Angeles.

Based in Miami, Lotero will develop the Central America and Colombia markets for the company and market Lynden’s ocean service into Puerto Rico, the company says. Lotero most recently was a senior vice president and board member at Navemar Group and has 15 years of industry experience.

Beckstead will be based in Lynden’s Los Angeles Service Center on work developing domestic offshore markets and ocean products, Lynden says. Prior to joining Lynden, Beckstead spent 17 years at Honolulu Freight Service as sales manager and national accounts director.
