Price of diesel falls below $4

Diesel fell 3.6 cents to $3.991 a gallon the Department of Energy announced Monday.

The dip in price for diesel puts it under $4 for just the third time in the past four months. Diesel prices have dropped in seven of the past eight weeks. The fuel’s $4.15 price in mid-October was the highest in over four years.
