Meritor Inc. expects to take a charge of between $15 million and $25 million and cut approximately 200 salaried employees the company said in an SEC filing Tuesday.

Of these charges, $15 million are expected to be for employee severance costs with the remaining for expected lease termination and other associated costs.

Meritor said the company would detail its actions in a meeting with investors and analysts Feb. 5 in New York.

The news comes nearly three weeks in advance of Meritor’s earnings call, which is set for Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. (ET)
