Office Depot’s Peters named new FleetPride CEO

Fleet Pride, Inc Announced Today That Kevin A Peters Has Been Appointed Chief Executive Officer Of Fleet Pride, Effective Jan 14, 2013FleetPride, Inc. announced Friday that Kevin A. Peters has been appointed the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Peters succeeds Woody McGee , who will remain on the Board of Directors. The move is effective Monday, Jan. 13.

“Kevin has a unique set of skills and experiences that are a great fit with FleetPride as the company capitalizes on the wide range of growth opportunities in the heavy-duty truck parts industry,” W.M. McGee said .  “I believe the company is well positioned to build on its reputation for superior customer service, broad inventory and parts availability.”

Peters joins FleetPride after five years at Office Depot, where he most recently served as President, North America.

From 2002 to 2007, Peters was the Senior Vice President, Merchandising and Supply Chain at W.W. Grainger, Inc., responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the company’s product line, purchasing and global supply chain operations.  Prior to W.W. Grainger, he spent 11 years with The Home Depot, where he served as Vice President and General Manager, Home Depot Commercial Direct – the wholesale division for Home Depot Canada.
