Carlos Sepulveda has stepped down as president and CEO at Interstate Batteries. Scott Miller has been appointed the company’s new leader.

“My time with Interstate Batteries has been the highlight of my career,” says Sepulveda, who joined Interstate Batteries in 1990 and was named president and CEO in 2004.  “I am thrilled to see Scott step up to this role and lead Interstate into a new era.  I know he will grow the brand and expand the culture that makes this company unique and exceptional.”

Sepulveda will begin his new role as executive chairman at Triumph Bancorp, Inc. May 1. He will continue to serve as a member of Interstate Batteries’ Executive Board, as he has since 1995, the company says.

“This seamless transition of leadership is really all part of the plan,” says Norm Miller, Interstate chairman. “Scott has grown up in this business and has the confidence and 22 years of experience to lead the company.  He is the right leader at the right time for Interstate Batteries.”
