Fontaine Modification Co. will divide into three separate business segments, focus on alternative fuels, auto transport services and modification services.
Fontaine Alternative Fuels will focus on converting gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles to run either solely or in conjunction with propane, the company says.
The business will offer EPA-certified conversions of new vehicles and aftermarket conversions. In addition, it will support modifications for propane- and CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks.
Fontaine Auto Transport Services will be dedicated to modifying Volvo, Freightliner and Peterbilt trucks for vehicle distribution applications.
Fontaine Modification Services will continue the serve the company’s vocational and work truck markets.
