Eaton Corporation has been named one of Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine’s “100 Best Corporate Citizens,” ranking in the top 50 for the sixth consecutive year.
This year, Eaton is ranked fourth overall – up from 17th in 2012.
“We are pleased to be recognized among our peers for our commitment to responsible corporate citizenry,” said Alexander M. Cutler, Eaton chairman and chief executive officer. “We live our values every day and want to be seen as a most-admired company among our customers, shareholders and employees, as well as in the communities where we live and work.”
CR ranked companies for their performance in environment, climate change, human rights, employee relations, corporate governance, philanthropy and financial performance.
Eaton placed behind only AT&T, which ranked first, Mattel and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
