Double Coin Tires and CMA announce the groundbreaking of the company’s newest distribution center will take place next week.

The ceremony, set for on April 25, will mark the beginning of construction for the company’s new warehouse and distribution center located in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Situated on approximately six acres near the intersection of 8th St. and Vineyard Ave., the facility will occupy over 129,000 sq. ft. of under roof storage. CMA says the state-of-the-art building design includes dock-high and grade level bay doors with stalls for parking additional trailers. To achieve a lower carbon footprint, natural lighting and exhaust systems are integrated into the building’s design, the company says. The company estimates the Rancho Cucamonga facility to be completed by November of this year.

“Rancho Cucamonga is an ideal and strategic location to support our expanding distribution needs,” says Aaron C. Murphy, vice president of CMA. “The city of Rancho Cucamonga and the developers of the new Phelan Center have collaborated to make sure all our functional requirements have been addressed. This will be our second location in North America and we have plans to expand in the near future building additional warehouse locations inside and outside of the United States.”
