Phillips Industries has been recognized by Daimler Trucks North America with a Masters of Quality Award for 2012 earned by each of their North American manufacturing locations.
The Commercial Vehicle Products (CVP) facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA is receiving the award for the fourth time since 2007; the Electrical Harness Division (EHD) located in Saltillo, Mexico is being recognized by Daimler for the second consecutive year.
DTNA presents its annual Masters of Quality Award to suppliers who meet rigorous standards and show a commitment for continual improvement. Daimler’s suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on more than 100 criteria related to quality, service, aftermarket parts availability, engineering, warranty, and purchasing; and only those rated at the top are recognized with this award.
Phillips Industries supplies cab harnesses, trailer cables, and other related products to DTNA.
““We know that Daimler only gives their Masters of Quality Awards to a very select group of suppliers. Each of our facilities has been recognized by Daimler in the past, but for us to win twice in the same year for two plants is truly incredible,” Rob Phillips, Vice President of Global Operations for Phillips Industries says of the dual awards for 2012
