TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, announced Wednesday the opening of a newly built Petro:Lube truck service facility at the Dodge City Petro Stopping Centers location at I-65, Exit 299 in Hanceville, Ala.
This new Petro:Lube offers six service bays and is open around the clock everyday.
The ASE- and TIA-certified technicians at this Petro:Lube location specialize in providing light duty repair, brakes, electrical, alignment, air conditioning, preventive maintenance, inspections and RoadSquad emergency road call services.
The Hanceville location increases the total number of truck service facilities in the TA and Petro branded chain to 235.
The Dodge City Petro:Lube also offers a drivers’ lounge waiting area with flat screen TV, and a retail area.
The TA-Petro annual independent survey of Overdrive magazine readers in late 2012 showed that TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube were “Voted Best” by professional drivers in eight categories, including Best Maintenance Shops, 4:1; Most Competent Technicians, 7:1; Most Trusted to Perform, 10:1; and Most Complete Shops, 8:1. These ratios depict driver preference for TA and Petro versus the next closest over-the-road repair and maintenance facilities, including truck stops. TA and Petro were voted Best Overall Truck Stops, preferred 4:1 over the competition.
