Link Manufacturing, Ltd. has been recognized as a Supplier of Excellence by Kalmar during the Cargotec second annual supplier day on July 24.
To achieve this distinction, Link met or exceeded standards that included: quality defects of less than 500 PPM, on-time delivery of over 99 percent, overall cost impact and providing innovative solutions, the company says. Link was one of four suppliers to meet all the criteria. Don Quigley, OEM account manager, represented Link at the awards ceremony.
Kalmar is a leading manufacturer of terminal tractors worldwide. Link not only supplies cab suspensions for the widely known Ottawa Brand terminal tractors of North America, but also supplies units to Cargotec China for the Asian Market and to the Cargotec Poland Multi Assembly Unit.
