The Premier Bandag retreading facility in Morehead, Ky., is undergoing renovation and expansion, which is likely to bring about eight new jobs.
The location, owned by S&S Tire, is adding roughly 6,000 square feet. The addition will feature a wheel refurbishing area, as well as two new truck bays to help improve shipping and receiving capabilities.
Owned by S&S Tire, the plant specializes in retreading tires for commercial customers.
