The Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) has added Instrument Sales & Service and MD Publications as its newest member companies.
MERA says its mission is to advance the remanufacturing industry and the business interests of its members. Its network of remanufacturers, suppliers and professional services firms — operating in the automotive and heavy-duty, off-road (HDOR) sectors — promotes the environmental, economic and product performance benefits of remanufactured goods, the organization says.
With today’s additions, MERA says it is now 99 companies strong.
Instrument Sales & Service
Located in Portland, Ore., Instrument Sales & Service is a diversified manufacturing, remanufacturing and distribution company offering past-model product and service solutions for electromechanical components supplied to customers in the automotive, transportation, industrial equipment, and electronic industries, the company says.
MD Publications
Based in Springfield, Mo., MD Publications Inc. is the parent company of Auto TECH expo, Undercar Digest and Transmission Digest, and has a long history of providing accurate news and up-to-date technical and management information to the automotive-repair industry.
