Since beginning operations in 1957, VIPAR says the Joe Gear Companies have grown to become five separate companies in six locations, each with a unique contribution to its market. Four of the Joe Gear Companies will be affiliated with VIPAR Heavy Duty. They include Consolidated Truck Parts & Service with locations in Monroe and Shreveport, La., providing a full selection of bumper to bumper parts and services for all makes and models of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks. Located in Many, La., MTP Drivetrain Services, is a defense contractor specializing in remanufactured truck components. Many Gear and Axle, also located in Many, is a full service heavy-duty truck repair shop catering to the local community. JAT Power in Doral, Fla. provides power generation equipment and parts.
