This award is given to suppliers that achieve exceptional quality levels through low defective parts-per-million (PPM) for their parts and components. Mitsubishi Electric supplies Paccar, a truck manufacturer, with medium- and heavy-duty starters and alternators.
Paccar is known around the world for the high-quality standards of its DAF, Kenworth, and Peterbilt truck brands. Paccar achieves these high levels by monitoring the quality of its suppliers’ parts and components to ensure that product defects are below 50 PPM. This standard includes both original truck production parts as well as warranty claims.
