Tire retread facility opens in Las Vegas

CMC Tire, Inc. in partnership with Continental Tire the Americas, LLC’s Commercial Vehicle Tire group, is opening its first commercial tire retread facility in Las Vegas.
During the grand opening celebration held at the company’s new 25,000 square-foot facility, CMC Tire Inc., a full service tire dealer with three generations of tire experience, announced its intention to service both southern Utah and the greater Las Vegas area with new and retread tires.
The new retread facility can produce up to 24,000 retreads annually, and production capacity is expected to grow to 48,000. The facility will service more than 300 customers and create 18 new jobs.
“The partnership is critical for our aggressive growth plans and is perfectly aligned with ContiLifeCycle’s aggressive growth strategy,” said Mike Morast, co-owner of CMC Tire. “With all new equipment that includes the latest retread technology, our partnership brings a proven retread product to the southwest market.”
