HD America veteran Bill Feldewerth dies

Bill Feldeweth, 22-year veteran of Heavy Duty America (HDA) and 40-year veteran of the heavy-duty aftermarket, has died.

Feldewerth started at Wagner Electric in the 1970s and spent many years there before joining HDA.

“Bill was the most dedicated, focused employee you could ever ask for. He was loved and cursed by the vendors with whom he dealt in his purchasing role, but one thing stands out the most, he was very fair and respected, and will be missed as a friend and contributor to the industry. His dreams and passion will live on,” says Pat Biermann, founder and past president of HDA.

“Bill had a knack for helping and teaching the younger guys and was a class act and a mentor,” adds Butch Hill of HD Group.

Feldewerth is survived by his wife, Ann Feldewerth, son Brian, daughter Veronica, brothers Ted and Tim sister Sherry, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
