The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry last week (July 22-28, 2019).

  • Capital Gear has hired Darcy Arbuthnot to fill the newly created position of account manager, Prairies and Northern Ontario.
  • Chris Gabrelcik, founder and president, Lubrication Specialties, was named one of the smartest 50 executives in central Ohio and received the Smart 50 Innovation Award by Smart Business magazine.
  • Stertil-Koni has hired Tim Kerr as product manager.
  • Pressure Systems International has hired Brenna Murphy as operations manager and promoted Jim Herzog to the sales and marketing group.
  • Advantage Truck Group (ATG) of Shrewsbury has named Daniel D’Alessio as its 2018 Employee of the Year, an award that recognizes dedication to the company’s core values of teamwork, commitment, excellence and integrity.
  • Idealease has hired Shannon Shackelford as an area vice president, National accounts. Shackelford will be responsible for customers in Texas and Oklahoma.
  • Ervin Equipment CEO Greg Ervin has died. He was 58.
  • Proterra has hired Mike Boggess as vice president of controls, electrical and thermal systems.
