Decisiv officially launched the SRM Alliance, a collaborative consortium designed to modernize the commercial truck service industry. The announcement was made Sunday at the 2026 Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Nashville.

Membership is currently open to all OEMs, dealers, and technology providers; however, the initiative is presently comprised of founding members Paccar, Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Hino Trucks, and KPIT.

The alliance's goal is to streamline service workflows by pooling resources and expertise. By sharing the costs of innovation, members aim to accelerate the rollout of high-impact features on the Decisiv SRM platform.

"We are uniting leaders to transform the service ecosystem," said Tim Hardin, Decisiv President and CEO.

Alliance structure

The SRM Alliance is governed by an executive committee of its founders and is organized into three tiers:

  • OEM members: Leading vehicle manufacturers.
  • Associate members: Independent dealer groups.
  • Affiliate members: Technology partners within the SRM ecosystem.

Leaders across the sector highlighted how this collaborative roadmap will improve efficiency:

  • For fleets: Pete Russo, Chief Alliance Officer at Decisiv, noted the focus will be on cutting "days out of service" through a unified technology roadmap.
  • For manufacturers: Shaun Skinner, President of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, emphasized that a connected supply chain helps dealers engage more effectively with customers.
  • For dealers: Tony Roy of Gabrielli Truck Sales pointed out that better service management directly correlates to higher shop throughput and improved customer retention.
  • For tech partners: KPIT’s CTO, Omkar Panse, reaffirmed the company's commitment to providing the technical expertise needed to digitize aftersales services.

Strategic priorities

The Alliance has identified three immediate priorities for the next generation of the Decisiv platform:

  1. Automation: Eliminating manual tasks in routine service management.
  2. Enhanced visibility: Creating smoother workflows for better oversight of the entire repair process.
  3. Data accuracy: Ensuring seamless integration between the SRM platform and various Dealership Management Systems (DMS).
