AFA says kits include the induction hardened cylinder liner that is factory specified for this application. AFA says non-hardened cylinders result in premature wear and ultimately diminish performance and shorten engine life.
AFA pistons also feature high-strength forged steel crowns to insure longer service life and are coated with a special Manganese Phosphate coating that reduces wear and improves break-in performance on initial start-up, the company says.
Also available are Cummins valve train parts, water and oil pumps, cooling system components, fuel system components, and other engine parts to help repair most components for the ISL/QSL engines, the company says.
