Flight Systems Electronics enters the heavy-duty market

Flight Systems Electronics Group (FSEG) is entering the heavy-duty engine market with new product offerings.

Through its Flight Diesel Brand, which has been selling light- and medium-duty pumps, injectors and turbochargers since 2006, FSEG says it is now following up with that success to include heavy-duty new and remanufactured components.

Beginning in the first quarter of 2014, Flight Diesel will be offering a new line of electronic unit injectors (EUI), turbochargers and electronic control units (ECU).

FSEG says this new EUI offering will include applications for Cummins, Cat and Detroit. Flight Diesel will be offering 20 different part numbers for those applications, including the newest ISX series injectors.

The turbocharger launches will include Mack E7 and Cummins ISX applications, and the initial ECU launch will open with the Detroit DDECIII and DDECIV, as well as the Cummins Celect and Celect Plus applications, the company says.

Flight Diesel also will be highlighting these new components at Booth #427 during the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week trade show later this month in Las Vegas.
