Alliance expands reman brake shoe, kit line

Updated Apr 4, 2014

Alliance Show KitAlliance Truck Parts has expanded its remanufactured brake shoe and kit product line to include new EG brake lining options rated for use on tandem axle tractor trailers up to 20,000 pounds.

Alliance says when paired with Alliance brake drum ABP N42A1657VB, the new brake linings and existing Alliance brake drum surpass the dynamometer requirement of the FMVSS 121 brake standard at a 20,000-lb GAWR.

“We’re proud of the expanded brake lining options and particularly of the quality we’ve achieved on these critical parts,” says Wayne Turner, aftermarket product marketing manager for Daimler Trucks North America. “We’ve been working with our distribution network and customers to meet the market demand for quality wheel end products at a good price. These new brake lining options in our remanufactured brake shoe kits do just that; they provide customers with a quality product at a great price.”

Alliance brake linings are backed by a 1-year/unlimited-mile nationwide warranty serviceable at over 800 locations including Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star and Thomas Built Buses dealerships in the U.S. and Canada, and Travel Centers of America and Petro locations nationwide.

The linings are available today and may be ordered from any Alliance Truck Parts dealer.
