Dometic Group announces its acquisition of Elkhart, Ind.-based Atwood Mobile Products, LLC has received clearance from U.S. anti-trust authorities, and the transaction has been completed.
Still pending is the completion of Dometic’s acquisition of Atwood’s Australian business, which is subject to an Australian regulator’s review.
Dometic says Atwood Mobile Products is a global provider in designing, engineering and manufacturing appliances and hardware for the RV, on- and off-highway and marine industries for more than 50 years. Thus, Dometic’s acquisition of Atwood complements and further diversifies Dometic’s existing product offerings and strengthens the company’s global footprint, the company says.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
