Hankook releases two new tires

DH07

This week Hankook Tire is unveiling a new DH07 drive position/pickup and delivery tire and TH22 low-platform trailer tire.

Hankook says the new DH07 drive position/pickup and delivery tire is designed for medium- and long-haul service and incorporates a wider three channel zigzag groove tread pattern to prevent stone drilling, at the same time offering self cleaning ability.

The DH07’s belt structure has been improved for reduced heat generation, the company adds. An optimized structure offers better ride and handling, while an improved bead design profile offers improved retreadability.  The DH07 is available in three 19.5-in. sizes: 225/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5 and 265/70R19.5.

TH22

The new Hankook TH22 low-platform trailer tire features a unique chip and cut compound for improved durability, the company says.

Additionally the TH22 incorporates a unique belt structure to minimize deformation for lower rolling resistance, an enlarged carcass profile with a reinforced belt cord which also focuses on improved durability and a reinforced bead structure which is designed to enhance load performance.  The TH22 is available in four 17.5 in. and 22.5-in. sizes: 215/75R17.5, 235/75R17.5, 245/70R17.5 and 255/70R22.5.

Hankook currently offers 20 truck tire models providing coverage for all truck and bus tire service applications and is available at commercial tire dealer locations.
