Mitchell 1, Navistar team up to release TruckSeries to dealer network

Mitchell 1 announced Monday that its TruckSeries truck repair information has been provided to International truck dealers as an integrated component of Navistar’s EZ-Tech and International Service Portal solution. This is the first step in an anticipated roll-out of TruckSeries to all International dealers across North America, the company says.

Mitchell 1 says its TruckSeries suite of software delivers comprehensive information for every stage of the repair process, enabling the International dealers to efficiently diagnose, estimate labor times and repair all makes of medium and heavy trucks brought in for service.

“By making TruckSeries all-makes diagnostic and repair programs easily accessible to International dealers, Navistar has provided them with a valuable set of tools to quickly get just about any truck back on the road,” says Scott DeGiorgio, general manager of Mitchell 1’s commercial vehicle group. “We are very pleased that Navistar has chosen to expand our partnership to give their dealer network powerful solutions to help them broaden their opportunity to be the all-makes service provider of choice for commercial trucks.”

In 2014, Mitchell 1 integrated its RepairConnect diagnostic module with Navistar’s OnCommand Connection to provide access to engine fault code testing and repair procedures for all-makes of Class 4-8 commercial trucks. The roll-out of TruckSeries to International truck customers increases their capacity to offer comprehensive service to any truck operator regardless of the make or model of truck they own, the companies say. The interface gives them immediate access to engine fault code testing and repair procedures, wiring diagrams, digital photos, specifications, component locations, connector views, test steps, and removal and installation procedures, helping them enhance efficiency and repair a wider variety of vehicles, the companies say.
