Mitchell 1 announces Manager SE Inspections, its next-generation multi-point inspection (MPI) tool fully integrated with its Manager SE Truck Edition shop management system.
According to Mitchell 1, the new tool brings efficiency and organization to the inspection process – making it faster to complete inspections, build estimates and communicate with customers.

Mitchell 1 adds this new add-on feature works seamlessly with Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries repair information for Class 4-8 vehicles and Manager SE’s new Job View feature set. Technicians can complete inspections on smartphones or tablets, capturing photos, videos and notes to fully document vehicle issues. The data synchs with the browser-based Workshop View, where service advisors are alerted as soon as the inspection status changes to “inspected.” This real-time update signals it’s time to price the items for that estimate directly within Manager SE’s Job View feature.

Once the inspection is complete, Mitchell 1 says customers receive a branded digital report by text or email that includes annotated photos, videos and any notes specific to these repairs. They can review each item, approving or declining services via a secure portal on their phone or computer, making the process fast and hassle-free.
