The two TSE products will be available through Meritor’s U.S.-based distribution centers in Florence, Ky. and in Canada from locations in Brampton, Ontario and Edmonton, Alberta.
“Our customers deserve the dependable availability of a single source for their wheel-end product needs, and this agreement enhances and expands Meritor’s broad product offering,” says Tim Bauer, senior director, Undercarriage Products, Aftermarket for Meritor. “The agreement also streamlines prepaid freight access to TSE’s OmniBrake and UltraLife products from Meritor’s two distribution centers.”
In addition to the two TSE products, Meritor says it will continue to offer customers a third air brake chamber under Meritor’s AllFit brand. Meritor produces all service components for the three chamber offerings.
Meritor’s undercarriage sales data indicates end-user customers prefer a choice in quality level (best, better, good) based on a vehicle’s lifecycle. With these product additions, Meritor says it provides end-users an array of wheel-end offerings to choose from to support their vehicle maintenance needs, according to Bauer.
“We are pleased to partner with Meritor and believe its market reach positions TSE’s brake chamber products positively,” says Mike Caggiano, vice president, sales and marketing for TSE Brakes.
Other Meritor wheel-end components include automatic and manual slack adjusters, standard and premium wheel seals, wheel bearings, hubs, drums, camshafts and new and remanufactured brake shoes, the company says.
