National Technician Appreciation Week is Sept. 21-27. Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is recognizing the skilled professionals who keep trucks road-ready, safely.
"Technicians are the backbone of trucking," says Nicole Oreskovic, Bendix's vice president of sales and marketing. "They're working at all hours, in every condition, helping to make sure vehicles and drivers can do their jobs safely. Vehicles not properly and regularly maintained contribute to increased downtime, the ripple effects of which reach every part of daily life. The responsibilities technicans handle are demanding and central to the industry and their contributions merit acknowledgement year-round."

Bendix provides training and resources to support technicians. The company's in-person Brake School is one of the industry's longest-running training programs, the company says, blending hands-on instruction and virtual sessions to best fit training time. The Bendix On-Line Brake School offers more than 120 courses on braking and active vehicle safety systems, with options to customize learning plans for fleets and track technician progress.

- The B2Bendix.com document library, which includes service data sheets, operating manuals, product training documents, installation instructions and more.

- The Bendix Tech Team at (800) AIR-BRAKE, providing real-time technical support, training guidance and product troubleshooting.
