Petro-Canada Lubricants has a new line of EV fluids.
The new lubricants will support OEMs through designing optimal solutions to EV challenges and drive innovation in the design of future high-performance EV technology, the company says. Petro-Canada Lubricant's new brands are EVR Driveline, EVR Thermal Management and EVR Motor Greases.

"The integration of EV technology into the transportation world is well underway, and our new EVR product line will further enable OEMs, commercial fleets and consumers to realize the promise of EV technology," says Alex Buczek, global segment manager of transportation at Petro-Canada Lubricants. "We reliably supply our partners today with solutions for EVs, based on our existing high-performance technologies. Our drive to continuously innovate has led us to launch EVR, our first brand of uniquely formulated fluids for EVs. We're looking forward to supporting the development of technologies that drive the reliability and performance of EVs."
These fluids and greases will give OEMs improved material compatibility, Petro-Canada Lubricants says, efficient power transfer and improved equipment performance to enable the development of advanced driveline, axle and battery technologies for use across a range of sectors.
Petro-Canada Lubricants is a member of the Southwest Research Institute's Advanced Fluids for Electric Vehicles (AFEV) Consortium. It works to advance the automotive industry's understanding of the unique stressors placed on EV and hybrid vehicle fluids to enable development and optimization of EV fluids and progress EV powertrain design.
