Carrier Refrigeration launched the Transform Line, a range of modernization and retrofit solutions for trucks, trailers and more. The company says it will help transport refrigeration customers meet future demands with existing fleets.
"Transform Line is an exciting addition to our portfolio of aftermarket solutions that will give our customers the ability to modernize and upgrade their existing fleets and address future demands of electrification, energy efficiency, sustainability and digital connectivity," says Bhasker Kaushal, vice president and general manager, sensitech and refrigeration aftermarket, Carrier. "Transform Line solutions come with next-generation technology that extends equipment lifespan and delivers superior performance into the future. Whether the demands are for better fuel economy, enhanced cargo quality or compliance with new regulations, we offer solutions to enhance our customers' fleet across the lifecycle."

The Transform Line will include the Eco-Drive power module, a proven aftermarket product in Europe. It uses a hydraulic pump connected to the truck engine's power take-off to drive a generator that powers the refrigeration unit. It can provide 100% refrigeration capacity independently of the truck's engine speed and while idling.
Carrier also offers emissions systems retrofit kits for generator sets and trailer refrigeration units built prior to mid-2023 through the Transform Line to help meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations. The line also offers EverFRESH controlled atmosphere retrofit kits for container refrigeration units, designed to improve the quality and longevity of transported goods.
Carrier says it will offer more Transform Line offerings next year.
