Buyers Products Company has a new version of its SaltDogg chain and auger spreaders — the PRO-M Series. The company says the new series makes installation faster, cleaner and more intuitive.
The PRO-M has an in-cab controller that connects to the spreader-mounted, weather-sealed control box through a small, easily routed control cable that eliminates bulky harnesses and clutter.

A control box mounted at the rear of the spreader has a rear dump button that allows operators to quickly bulk unload material through the built-in swing-away chute. It also provides easy access connections for auxiliary lighting and additional controls to streamline operational enhancements.

The PRO-M spreaders deliver the same heavy duty direct drive system in the PRO Series that's powered by a 3/4 horsepower auger or chain motor and a 1/2 horsepower spinner motor made to move heavy, wet or mixed materials. The integrated vibrator ensures consistent material flow through either the 5 1/4-inch steel auger or the 12-inch pintle chain.
The spreaders are made in the U.S. and are available in polymer or stainless steel with capacities ranging from 1.5 to 8 cubic yards.
