Fontaine Spray Suppression adds R&D, sales/marketing positions

Fontaine Spray Suppression announced the hiring of Ian Dixon as research and design product design engineer and Todd Shelton as vice president of sales and marketing.

“We believe these hires prepare us to deliver a more dynamic product offering to the market and to clearly communicate the benefits to our customers,” says Doug Henson, president of Fontaine Spray Suppression. “With the historic reputation of our three brands – Fleetline, Nu-Line and Hogebuilt – our commitment to the future is clear in terms of product development.”

Dixon comes to Fontaine Spray Suppression from HPC Automation, where he designed automated machinery for automotive industry suppliers. He previously developed products at Griffin Technology, a provider of consumer electronics accessories. Dixon helped start Dixon Brothers Racing in 1997 to compete in offroad racing and later developed aftermarket products for offroad enthusiasts.

Shelton, a 20-plus-year veteran of the heavy-duty parts industry, most recently worked as director of parts marketing for Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks Inc. He also has held sales and sales management positions for CR/SKF and Stone Heavy Vehicle Specialists.
